Immunization Guidelines

All students entering school for the first time are required to have proof of immunization against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, mumps, measles, and rubella.

Children entering, attending, or transferring to PK or K are required to have the varicella vaccine unless child has a documented history of the disease.

Children entering, attending, or transferring to grades kindergarten, 1 and 2 in Florida schools will be required to have completed the hepatitis B vaccination series. (10D-3.088, F.A.C.)

Children entering, attending, or transferring to 7th or 8th grade are required to have completed the hepatitis B vaccination series, a second measles vaccination (preferably MMR), and a tetanus-diphtheria booster.

A second dose of measles vaccine (preferably MMR) is required for children attending grades K-8.
